The book Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank is still important/still matters because it is about how bad the Holocaust really was from a Jewish person's point of view. My book ends where she writes the last entry in her Journal, where soon after the Secret Annex gets raided, and many Jews get captured, including Anne Frank herself. The rest of the book before this is all of her Journal entries, where she talks about her life. Near the start, she is talking about her school/boyfriends and everything, and how life was before she went into hiding. Soon after that, she writes about her life in hiding. That's what the rest of the book is about. In the "Afterword" section of my book, it states "Margot and Anne Frank were transported from Auschwitz at the end of October and brought to Bergen-Belsen, a concentration camp near Hannover (Germany)."
